the write-up was vague on faster than light speed travel so i kinda went for a general "lost of big engines = fast" thing... i was contemplating external fuel tanks, but decided to keep it streamlined to some degree. so in reality i am kinda ignoring the problem
a race that takes 8 months in space would require massive amounts of fuel if said fuel had to be hauled things could start getting messy
And you're absolutely right on the fuel part!! I'd have to agree on that!! Just makes you wonder where they'd be racing to
