Xenomorph Experimentation

the title may betray the true meaning for this picture. it is a xenomorph, but the only experimentation is with the media at work here. this was done in my beginning art class as assigned with india ink, brush, wash and white colored pencil. this was just one of a few practice draws today using this new technique.

i really went into it with a bad attitude, but i am glad i learned this style, its actually really nice

paper used was 19' x 24' bristol smooth 300 and although there was some bad warping it was large hills rather than wrinkles. its really fantastic paper to work on no matter how you figure it!

didn't have ref, just fell back on my multiple years playing with the toys as a youngin, so im not really worried if there is something wrong, this is how i see aliens

any crits you feel compelled to give i would rather be directed at the media instead of the subject content, but really i don't care too much, thats all i am trying to learn, thats all.
