fixed the screen smudge thing, and scaled up the dock connector to make it appear smaller */EDIT* I’ve started to avidly partake in using a sketchbook. One of the benefits of this is ideas like these. I don't know… it just came out! I started off thinking about making it round like a thick click wheel with a screen, but I am pretty positive you can't make round LCD displays without sacrificing most of the size due to the rounded boarder. Anyway, this is un-finished. Something is going crazy with the hdri/radiosity so the screens look like they have smudges. Also, the screen is kind of lame, so ill be looking for different ones. I’m thinking that the buttons are activated by pressing on the cardinal directions (the lcd/screen plate move as one on a central pivot giving it a physical clicking sensation) Scrolling would be done as normal with a clockwise or counter-clockwise motion, while ignoring the corners. anyway, any crit is more than welcome. right now im trying for photo realism, so i have a way to go... and most of that way is uncharted. well, i too have thought that the ipod should go landscape and have everything as a touch screen, but many people insist that they NEED tactile feedback from the physical movement of the keys... it IS nice controlling my ipod through my pocket, so i tried mixing them both

-- [link] :-0 :-0 :-0 The lcd screen of the ones lying down are not illuminated, they look like flat pictures. Give them some self-illumination...
-- [link] - Terms and Conditions Apply Great work!!! I agree with about changing the screens as mentioned above. Other than that it's coming along fantastic!
